WATERCRAFT TUNING? FUEL - SPARK MAPPING?
Is there anyone else that is cerrently using one of these Dynomite's for four stroke watercraft? We are setting up to map Kawasaki four stroke watercraft engines. Paper work says 250HP, I've been told 350HP max.... Guess we'll see what happens. Two of our factory Stock watercraft make 250 / 260HP. 2007 Kawasaki Ultra 250X (250HP advertized) 2008 Kawasaki Ultra 250X (250HP advertized) 2009 Kawasaki Ultra 260X (260HP advertized) We are going to add a bunch of compression and an aftermarket Eaton screw type roots blower to the 2009. (it comes with a little factory twin lobe roots to make 260HP " --advertized-- " )Our smallest engine 1200cc inline four has a ATi Procharger on it with an intercooler. On a bad day at the lake she'll do 71mph. This is a link to what we were working on in 2003...FOR WATERCRAFT RACING. http://www.roguejets.net/old_site/KA...OUR_STROKE.htm ![]()

I have made over a hundred pulls on my 9" brake on a BRP 1203 4 stroke snowmobile engine with and without an Aerocharger turbo. Max boost we did was 7 lbs at 210 HP at 8100 rpm. No problems.
I am currently installing this engine into a Sea Doo XPL watercraft and with the larger Aerocharger, we expect to make up to 400 HP. This will be a good test of my water system and my abilities. The dyno only has problems with peaky 2 stroke race engines and large nitrous hits. I have done 25 HP shots ( and could probably handle 50 hp ) and all worked well. |
